Does this toner contain alcohol? +

Yes — it contains Alcohol Denat., which is what gives the toner its quick-drying, matte finish and helps it cut through surface oil. We list it openly in the INCI on this page. If your skin is very dry or reactive, use it on the oily T-zone only, or choose the alcohol-free Milk & Honey Cleanser as your gentler option.

What does the salicylic acid do? +

Salicylic acid is oil-soluble, so it gets inside the pore and helps clear the build-up that turns into blackheads and breakouts. At the low level used here it keeps oily skin clearer without the peeling of a strong acid treatment.

Can I use it every day? +

Yes, morning and night on oily and combination skin. If your skin is dry, start with once a day and always follow with a moisturiser.

Is it non-comedogenic? +

Yes. The toner is pH balanced, non-comedogenic and dermatologically tested, so it will not clog pores — which is why it suits acne-prone skin and Pakistan's hot, humid weather.
